General Product Information – Improved CDC Gravid Trap

CDC Gravid Trap – Inspired from improvements made by Robert F Cummings (Proceedings and Papers of the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California, 2023).  The fan will be above the collecting chamber, no-longer damaging specimens passing through the trap’s configuration.

This trap is an open faced concept of the our  Reiter Cummings Inspired Gravid Traps.  It utilizes the same body as our other trap, but without a top.  The trap uses a 120mm fan that connects to a 12V battery, allowing for a stronger airflow than previous models.  This trap however is exposed to the elements without the lid.  All parts of the trap are replaceable
