I’ve been looking for a sturdy collapsible net for a while to replace the one I bought from BioQuip, so I decided to purchase two of these 12″ collapsible pocket nets. The shipping was really fast, within a few days. Overall, the nets are well built. I enjoy the rubber handle, which feels secure in the hand. These are a little longer (by a few inches) than the standard wooden handle nets, which is nice. I plan to keep one in my vehicle for spur-of-the-moment insect collecting. Taken apart, the net and poles can easily be stored in a field bag or a car’s side door, so great for traveling. The net itself is soft yet strong, which will be nice for butterflies and dragonflies. These nets seem like they will last as long as my BioQuip net!
