Trapping Mosquitos with the use of dry ice (CO2) | Encephalitis Vector Surveillance (EVS)
This trap is designed to hang from sturdy outdoor structures and uses CO2 to attract female mosquitos. This product is great for researchers/public health labs to collect larger amount of mosquitos and trap them in a sealed container. For best results, collection takes one full day cycle – sunrise to sunset.
The EVS CO2 Mosquito trap is great to use for educational purposes to effectively trap mosquitos and use in classrooms.
