Description
General Product Information
The Pocket Magnifier is a convex lens that produces a 3x magnified image of an observed object. It can be used for observing smaller specimens or different body parts for identification. When the lens is open, be careful to not scratch the lens surface. By folding the lens into the hard shell outer case, you ensure the longevity of your Pocket Magnifier. When the lens is flipped open, the case also provides a helpful handle to steady the device as you utilize it. Different from a hand lens, the Pocket Magnifier offers a larger field of view.
To use the Pocket Magnifier, flip open the lens and hold it in your dominant hand and the item intended for magnification in the other. Bring the lens between with the focal object and your eye, and then move your eye closer to the lens. Adjust the distance of the lens to your eye and the object until the magnified image becomes clear. If the lens becomes dirty, make sure to gently wipe off any debris or dirt before folding the lens back into its case, to prevent scratching.
