These were some of the best investments for insect interpretation tabling and guided walks. Being able to net a butterfly, stick it in this portable, clear, lightweight cage, and pass it around to people of all demographics to look at closer was a real game changer for hands-on education with minimal stress to the animal.
Currently using them now to rear some giant silk moths, and while there is some staining on the green fabric from the frass, the containers are easily cleaned.
