This Butterfly trap includes a long trap made of black mesh, with an inner white cone (mouth = 7″ diameter) sitting above a bait tray. The tray height can be adjusted with draw strings. An access zipper is located along the vertical seam of the trap and allows for easy access to the main chamber. The trap easily folds down into 10″ and includes a convenient carrying case.

General Product Information – Butterfly Trap Baited

A baited Butterfly Trap takes advantage of a butterfly’s natural tendency to fly up after feeding or responding to a disturbance. The white inner cone and upper panel simulates a gap in the canopy which also assists with the upper movement of the butterfly. Once it passes through the white cone, it enters a spacious chamber with black mesh. This chamber, has a convenient access zipper along the length of the chamber which allows for easy removal.
