A Tick Drag is a standard method for collecting ticks in their habitat. The cloth is normally pulled across the ground or swept across low vegetation. It is pulled behind the user with ten feet of cord attached to ends of the cloth’s frame. The white cloth makes tick observations easier, and specimens can be removed with forceps.
