The days are gradually getting longer and our team is busy at work getting ready for the warmer months! We will be attending the Entomological Society of America Eastern Branch Meeting from March 15-18 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Will we see you there? We look forward to connecting with entomologists in our region!

This month’s new arrivals include: Open-Faced Cabinets, Portable Insect Cage. Cornell Museum Grade Drawers, Build Your Own Telescopic Insect Net. We are looking to offer shell vials soon, but we need feedback on what toppers to offer. Let us know what you think! New items to our product plans include specimen manipulators and LED ultraviolet lights!

    • 3D Printed Manipulator as a budget option to the old Rose-Entomology design.
    • Currently testing a prototype, thank you to those that have provided feedback!

Coming Soon:

  • Rose-inspired Nets ~ MAY 2025
    • Designed after the beloved Rose Entomology Nets
    • We are currently improving the locking mechanism for securing the net ring.
    • These nets will feature the well known light-weight and durable metal construction, net ring made of a continuous metal piece, with locking mechanism.
  • Top Loaded Collecting Jars – (8, 16, and 32 oz.) ~ MAY 2025
    • Working on making sure they are sealed to prevent any leaking when in the field.

    • Looking into a means to wholesale to provide an option

    • Working on fixing an issue of the trap getting too hot on the ends to be safe to touch.
  • Silicone Double Mounting Strips ~ Summer 2025
    • Still working on the right density of silicone
    • Non-porous and rigid enough to support specimen and 0.15 minuten pin without sagging.
    • Sold in packs of 20.
